Winning Photo:  "Taking An Afternoon Nap"

This photo was taken at the Bronx Zoo last July. I was walking thru the monkey exhibit and saw this little guy sleeping in a tree. Taken with a Canon d60 camera 35-105 lens, 1/125 shutter speed.

 

Accompanying Photo:  "The Deep Sleep, Where Did the River Go?"

Taken recently at Cornwall, CT.  This kayaker was waiting to shove off and closed his eyes for a few seconds, a perfect opportunity to capture what appears to be a high and dry sleeping kayaker. Taken with a Canon 30d camera, 105mm lens, 1/250 shutter speed.

 

Thomas Mancuso's Biography:

Tom Mancuso has been in the computer business since 1969.  He also has been a certified photographer since 1979.  His main photo interests are outdoors wildlife subjects.  He also does some pinup model work.
